Lakshmi Parvathi Lays Claim on NTR's Legacy

Today is the 25th Vardhanti of Legend NTR and like every time, it did not go without controversy. NTR’s widow, Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi who usually spices up things with controversial political comments on TDP did something different now.

She tried to claim the legacy of NTR for her family. “Little NTR was born in my house as my grandson. He will derive inspiration from my husband and I pray God that NTR’s blessings will be on him always,” Lakshmi Parvathi said. Nandamuri family disowned Lakshmi Parvathi long ago and her connection with the family got lost after NTR’s demise.

Moreover, she has joined the YSR Congress and aligned herself against the TDP and Nandamuri family. Moreover, the grandson she claims is from her first marriage. So, this has become disputable. It has to be seen if Nandamuri family will choose to respond to this or let it pass by ignoring her comments.

Rubbing salt to the wounds further, Lakshmi Parvathi showered praises on Jagan’s rule in Andhra Pradesh equating it to Rama Rajyam and NTR’s rule.
