Former Vijayawada MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu earlier this week in Amaravati and both of them indulged in a closed-door meeting. Reliable sources tell us that Lagadapati submitted his survey report to Chandrababu which was done in November 2016.

According to the report, TDP may win around 160 seats if there is no alliance with BJP. If there is an alliance with BJP, TDP may win around 140-150 seats. So, it is clear that an alliance with BJP will be a burden to TDP in AP.

The survey report also said that If TDP contests alone, it may win in 22-23 MP seats. Jana Sena will 3.9% Vote Share if contested alone. The permutations and combinations may change as elections come closer but the fact that BJP will be a burden to TDP remains the same. So Naidu is concerned.
