Former Vijayawada MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal, and KCR do not see eye to eye. Telugu people will still have vivid memories of how Lagadapati used to lambast KCR singlehandedly and how KCR used to call Lagadapati as Jagadapati. Lagadapati promised to stay away from politics if the state is separated and honoring his promise, he did not contest the 2014 elections.
Except for occasional appearances in media, Lagadapati is totally missing from the Political scene. The other day, the former Vijayawada MP surprised everyone by meeting KCR and extended an invitation for his son’s marriage.
KCR and Lagadapati were seen sharing pleasantries. Surprisingly for everyone, there is no air of uncomfortableness between them. Sources say that no politics have come between them. It came as a total surprise that Lagadapati has gone to KCR but then things have changed drastically after the bifurcation.
