Former Vijayawada MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu a couple of months ago and from then speculations are on if Lagadapati will make a comeback to politics joining Telugu Desam Party.
Earlier today, Lagadapati attended an event in Vijayawada and there were slogans from people calling themselves his fans demanding that he should come back to politics. Usually, such sloganeering is staged and analysts feel if Lagadapati is also indirectly hinting about a possible political comeback.
Telugu people will still have vivid memories of how Lagadapati used to lambast KCR singlehandedly and how KCR used to call Lagadapati as Jagadapati. Lagadapati promised to stay away from politics if the state is separated and honouring his promise, he did not contest the 2014 elections.
