Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is angry over two lady district collectors for preferring Modern Dressing Style. The two collectors in the dock are Warangal district collector Amrapali and Mahabubabad district collector Preeti Meena.
Both the collectors recently went on a forest tour in the modern dresses and that footage surfaced in the media. KCR wanted them to shun modern dresses and opt for traditional dresses while in the Public duty. He also observed that a lady official working in CMO is sporting Tattoos.
He has directed their higher officials to talk to them. However, the Civil Services Rules Manual did not prescribe any dress code for the district collectors. Both the collectors known to be highly performing officials in the state are upset with this remarks of KCR.
