K Taraka Rama Rao, son of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao and the state’s IT and Panchayati Raj minister chooses to be simple. He refused the ‘red beacon car’ and official bungalow offered by the government and choose to travel in his personal car. He converted a part of his house in Nandinagar in to his office and working from there.
The Telangana state government had allotted a bungalow to the IT & PR Minister in the Ministers’ Quarters premises at Jubilee Hills. KTR is travelling in his own car with out a convoy so as not to trouble the commoners. He is also not using the red beacon light on his car. KTR reportedly wanted to cut down the unnecessary extravagance and show-off and set an example to other leaders. Good going!
