The fact that the Indian jury picked a Gujarat freemake film, Chhello Show over RRR for the Oscars is leading to stern rebuke on social media. Incidentally, Telangana IT minister KTR has tweeted about the same now.
Reacting to a tweet on how the Indian jury skipped RRR for a Gujarati film, KTR shared a very interesting tweet.
“Not a single BJP joker from Telangana has the guts to demand what is rightfully ours. Ever Ready to carry Chappals of their Gujarati Bosses but can’t summon the courage to demand Telangana’s rights. Gujarat is the epicentre of Modiverse” KTR tweeted.
The IT minister is evidently firing shots at BJP over RRR not being nominated to the Oscars.
Notably, Telangana BJP chef Bandi Sanjay initially abused Rajamouli saying he is misusing Telugu freedom fighters for his gains. But after RRR released and became a blockbuster, the scene changed. BJP bigwig Amit Shah met with Jr NTR and reportedly appreciated him over RRR.
Now, KTR has used the occasion to take potshots at the Telangana BJP wing.
