KTR Lays Stone For IT Hub In NalgondaTelangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao is working hard to expand IT into the other districts beyond Hyderabad. Warangal has become the hub of IT Companies in Telangana outside Hyderabad. The city is already home to Tech Mahindra and Cyient, recently Genpact has come on board as well.

Now the minister has laid the stone for an IT hub in Nalgonda as well. He laid the foundation stone for the IT hub on the campus of the Government Polytechnic College. It will be built to provide employment to 3,000 people. The government aims to complete the IT hub in 18 months.

Buzz is that the State Government already got commitments from some of the big IT companies to set shop in the hub once it is operational. The ambitious project will come up at the cost of 110 Crore Rupees. IT growth in tier-II cities is indeed commendable.

Distribution of economic activity will be followed by progressive acts like walking to work or at least reduced commute time; opportunities for local talent etc
