Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao will be turning 66 on the 17th of this month. On this occasion, his son, IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao gave an important call to all the TRS Leaders, members, and fans. He asked them to celebrate the Birthday by planting at least one sapling each.
KTR mentioned that Haritha Haaram is the passion of the Chief Minister. “On the 17th of February 2020, Hon’ble CM Sri KCR Garu will be turning 66. As we all know his passion for ‘Haritha Haaram’ requests all @trspartyonline leaders & members to make sure you celebrate & mark our leader’s birthday by planting at least one sapling 🌱each #EachonePlantOne,” he posted on his Twitter account.
Telangana Ku Haritha Haram is the flagship program of the government. The Programme envisages increasing the green cover of the State from the present 25.16 to 33 percent of the total geographical area. The program, however, is yet to be successful.
Let us see if this call of KTR will motivate people to actively take part in increasing the green cover.
