Telangana Minister, K Taraka Ramarao may be given the herculean task to accommodate all the defected leaders along with the key members of the party in the Greater Area. GHMC area with 24 Assembly constituencies holds the key for the next government in Telangana.
It accounts for 20 percent of the 119 seats in Telangana and so KTR has shifted his focus. TRS just won three MLAs out of this 24 seats in the last elections. Almost all the TDP MLAs are in TRS Fold and they are looking to get a seat yet again.
But then, the leaders who have worked for TRS for years are also keen on getting ticket making the ticket allotment very difficult. If delimitation happens, there will be another eight seats in the city or else it will be really tough for TRS to manage.
