With the advent of Kia Motors to Andhra Pradesh, several ancillary units from North Korea are lining up to Andhra Pradesh. These units will work for Kia Motors’ upcoming plant in Anantapur. 39 companies have already evinced their interest and put up the proposals.
Thirty more companies are also interested and their team of representatives will be sitting with the officials of the state government on 9th of this month. The team will also be accompanied by the country’s External Affairs Minister.
The Team is likely to meet the Chief Minister towards the end of that day. A presentation will be given to them about the facilities and incentives offered to the investors. Big companies like Hyundai and Samsung are also a part of this team.
Buzz is that the Positive Word of Mouth about the Business opportunities and ease of doing business with Andhra Pradesh government has spread in North Korea and this has resulted in companies from there evincing their interest in setting shop in AP.
