The fatal bus accident at Kondagattu the other day has killed 58 persons. More than 100 Persons are reportedly crammed in the Palle Velugu bus which fell into the valley. Srinivas, the driver of the bus also got killed in the accident.
RTC tried to evade responsibility by saying that Srinivas was awarded the Best Driver for Independence Day recently. But then, the track record of Srinivas is very poor. He was first appointed in RTC way back in August 2002.
Since then, Srinivas was involved in three Major Accidents the latest being in 2013. He was suspended on all the three occasions back then. Finally, he breathed his last in the accident the other day. The Government brushed off its hands by announcing Ex-gratia to the dead and the injured.
