Srinivasa Rao, the accused in Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Kodi Kathi Case is handed over to the NIA by the Vishakapatnam Police. He was shifted to Vijayawada on a Sumo from Vishakapatnam to Vijayawada. He will be made to appear before NIA Court in Vijayawada and the agency will ask for his Remand.
Srinivasa Rao is in the custody of Vishakapatnam Police for 107 days after the attack. His Bail Petition was rejected multiple times. The investigation will now go on in Vijayawada. YSR Congress is of the opinion that it is a clear case of Assassination attempt on the Opposition Leader aided by the State Government.
So, it has got an NIA investigation approaching the High Court. It has to be seen if there will be any new twists in this case after the NIA’s investigation. Vishaka Police had concluded that Srinivasa Rao is indeed a fan of Jagan but attacked him to get sympathy. He also tried to become a Hero before the women he knows with this Attack.
