Telangana JAC Chairman Professor Kodandaram is taking up a State-wide Yatra remembering martyrs that sacrificed their lives to achieve Telangana. The Yatra will take place between 21st and 24th of this month. It will begin from Sangareddy and end at Siddipeta.
Kodandaram is taking up this yatra with the demands of jobs for the youth and agriculture without the suicides of the farmers. Kodandaram is a professor of Political Science at PG College in Secunderabad, one of the colleges under Osmania University.
He played a very active role in the Telangana Agitation. KCR tried to bring him into TRS in 2014 but Kodandaram did not show any interest. For some reason, he differed with KCR and is anti-government in various issues. There were also rumors that he will float a new political party.
