Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani has been tested positive for Coronavirus. The Minister has been airlifted to Hyderabad and is undergoing treatment in the AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli. The hospital is yet to release a bulletin about his health.
AP Minister getting admitted to a hospital of other state has triggered criticism on social media. People say it only indicates the lack of trust in Andhra Pradesh’s Health care. The same Minister has been often critical of Opposition Leader Chandrababu Naidu for staying in Hyderabad.
So, the backlash is high. Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases are on a rise in Andhra Pradesh. The State Government, however, had deferred the imposition of Night Curfew and other restrictions until after Sankranthi.
This may lead to a massive wave, experts worry. Keeping all that aside, we wish the Minister a speedy recovery.
