Know About Alimineti Madhava ReddyPoliticians are often compared to vultures. They do not even spare the dead for their political benefit. In Andhra Pradesh, Alimineti Madhava Reddy who was assassinated in 2000 is dragged into the murk to assassinate Chandrababu Naidu‘s wife Bhuvaneshwari’s character.

Madhava Reddy was into village politics even before TDP was formed. He joined TDP only in 1984 (one year after Nara Lokesh’s Birth in 1983). He was elected as an MLA on TDP ticket in 1985. He served as the Home Minister under NT Ramarao and Chandrababu Naidu as well.

Even though a soft-spoken man, Alimineti Madhava Reddy took extreme measures to control Law & Order in the State but earned him enemies in the Naxals. In 2000, he was killed in a landmine blast triggered by the People’s War Group of Naxalites. The death of a man who laid his life for the state is now being used for politics indiscriminately.

After Madhava Reddy’s death, Chandrababu brought his wife Uma into politics and even took her into the cabinet. She is in various positions in the Telugu Desam party as well until she joined TRS in 2017 for the political future of her son. Even after leaving TDP, she always maintained that she has the highest regard for TDP and Chandrababu Naidu.
