KKR begins protest in Delhi
As the Parliament sessions began in New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy has began his dharna opposing the state bifurcation. He is accompanied by PCC Chief Botsa Satya Narayana and Congress MLAs from Seema Andhra region. They all paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat and sat for dharna at Janta Mantar. Huge number of Police personnel were deployed at Jantar Mantar and surrounding areas. On the other side, the proceedings of Parliament were repeatedly stalled as Seema Andhra MPs barged in to Speaker’s well number of times. Similar scenes were continued in Rajya Sabha too.

Earlier in the day, tension prevailed at AP Bhavan, Delhi. Telangana supporters tried to stop CM convoy and raised slogans against KKR. Seema Andhra Congress leaders tried to defend him and also raised ‘Jai Samayikya Andhra’ slogans. A stampede took place for a while until police interfered and convince both the sides to stay calm.
