Puducherry Lieutenant Governor and former dynamic IPS Officer, Kiran Bedi is a well known and famous name across the nation and also commands respect from all quarters. Interestingly, Kiran Bedi showered praises on Andhra Pradesh’s 1100 Service which was launched recently.
1100 Service is a Citizen Grievance Redressal System. A call center was established and citizens can complain about anything which will be forwarded to the concerned department and will ensure a solution. Kiran Bedi is delighted on this model and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to emulate it across the nation.
“Why not as a system in every city.It’s needed.It can act as a Master Communicator & energize departments as per need. This is maximum governance with the minimum government. All districts can have a Master On Call Centre for Administration help. @PMOIndia (sic)” Kiran Bedi tweeted.
The Former IPS Officer was quoting an article of India Today on 1100 Service. Kiran Bedi’s testimony should rejuvenate the spirits of the government and should ensure that the system works further effectively in serving the common man.
