Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan - KCREver since the appointment of Tamilisai Soundararajan as the Governor of Telangana, there are rumors that the BJP led central Government is trying to arm-twist the Telangana Government. TRS has indirectly expressed its displeasure about the appointment but could not do anything.

Now, it is emerging that the Governor is considering holding a `Praja Darbar’ in order to meet the people to hear their complaints and suggestions. She said so on her Twitter handle, which she handles herself. MBT leader, Amjedullah Khan requested her to hold a Praja Darbar “at least once in a week so that the general public-facing problems can meet her and represent the matter”.

“Thankyou for the suggestion. Already under my consideration,” Dr. Soundararajan had responded to Amjedullah Khan on Twitter. The Leader had accused the Chief Minister of being aloof from the General Public by not coming to the Secretariat or meet Public at the Camp Office. The Governor holding the Praja Darbar will mean that Telangana will very soon have Pondicherry like issues.

The Governor there, Kiran Bedi is extremely proactive in interacting with the People and the Congress Government there feels it is a breach of their constitutional privileges. Telangana Chief Minister KCR will not be happy if that happens in his State.
