Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo Chandra Babu Naidu has made three key changes to his core team after the recent elections. Nama Nageswara Rao, CM Ramesh and Garikipati Mohan Rao who were prominent faces in the last election were off late sidelined by P.Narayana, former IAS Samba Siva Rao and Revanth Reddy. Nama was the face of TDP in the last term but his feud with Tummala Nageswara Rao in Khammam damaged the party in the district and also lead to Tummala’s exit from the party. Nama was lost in the recent elections and Naidu was maintaining distance from him. Garikipati Mohan Rao played a key role in the success of Naidu’s Padayatra in Telangana region but was kept aside now by Naidu as Tummala who recently left the party is his relative.

CM Ramesh who foresaw the party’s election campaign in Rayalaseema during the last elections is now rarely seen that active, the other industrialist and Rajya Sabha MP, Sujana Chowdary takes his place now. Former IAS Samba Siva Rao was in Chandra Babu’s CMO during 2004. He resigned for his IAS post and joined Naidu’s Heritage after winning in the recent elections, Samba Siva Rao has become a key advisor to the CM on administration and choosing IAS and IPS officers for important positions. And last but not the least is Revanth Reddy, the firebrand politician of Telangana. Revanth is seen more as the future of TDP in Telangana region and he was recently inducted in to the party’s Polit Bureau. There is a strong buzz within TDP that he may well be the CM candidate of TDP in Telangana in 2019 elections.
