Chandrababu Naidu just took a decision and resolved the Sattenapalli tangle. Now, a fresh challenge is awaiting the TDP supremo in Vijayawada.
MP Kesineni Nani defied the party’s high command and made challenging comments in the media.
“I have no issue if any ‘Pittaladora’ is given a ticket. If people want, I may even contest as independent. Any party is okay if it suits my mentality. I am not worried if my party takes my statements otherwise. I am not worried if I will become an MP or will get a ticket. I have a good track record of doing works like no other MP in the country,” Kesineni said.
There are rumors in Vijayawada that Nani may be refused a ticket in the coming elections. Reports are that Nani’s brother, Chinni may get the ticket next time.
Nani’s comments assume significance in the wake of this confusion. But then, deciding on this issue is not going to be as easy as Sattenapalli. Nani has sizeable popularity in Vijayawada and he has done some good work too.
The only negative about Nani is his high headedness and his not taking other leaders into confidence.
An easy seat will be messed up if he contests as an independent or if he joins some party.
