Kejriwal's Padayatra In Telangana?KCR in Telangana is already feeling the heat due to anti-incumbency and a surging BJP. And now, one more headache seems to be adding to his list of worries.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has made a splash in the recent Punjab Assembly elections, is now focusing on other states. Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh are all set to contest the Assembly elections later this year.

At the same time, it hopes to expand the party in the South as well. Reports are that the party’s national convener, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will visit Telangana soon.

Aam Aadmi Party sources said that Kejriwal will be coming to Hyderabad next month. The padayatra will begin on April 14 to mark Ambedkar’s birthday. The party sources feel that the AAP will have the support of Telangana youth as well as retired IAS officers.

It is learned that the AAP Telangana Search Committee is already making arrangements for this Padayatra. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will hold Padayatras in 119 assembly constituencies, sources said.

Assembly elections will be held in Telangana at the end of next year. With this election, the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to gain a foothold in the South.

Party Senior Leader Somnath Bharathi has been appointed in charge of AAP Telangana. Party sources said he would soon come to the state and make arrangements for the Padayatra.
