Lok Satta’s Jai Prakash Narayana was seriously against bifurcation of the state until few days ago. TRS MLAs physically assaulted him for that in Assembly itself for speaking against Telangana movement. But the speech of JP in Assembly totally advocated the need of Telangana state formation along with respecting the sentiments of Seema Andhra people. At one stage, he termed Telangana formation as necessary and inevitable.
Political Analysts believe that JP’s change in stance may be attributed Arvind Kejriwal. JP is seriously trying for an alliance with Aam Admi Party. However AAP is clearly in favour of Telangana formation which seem to have an effect on JP’s stand too. On the other side. Aam Admi Party’s Prashant Bhushan who is in Hyderabad on Saturday made it clear that Lok Satta can only merge in AAP and there is no chance of alliance before the elections.
