YS jagan - KCRTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s Jaitrayatra concluded in Dubbaka. Ever since the new state formation, KCR is the crowned King of the state and literally smashed every election conducted in the state barring one here and there.

He mainly focused on keeping the vote bank happy by dolling out sops and thus successfully managed to win a second term. The TRS Government has focused a bit on the development as well. There are some visible changes in the infrastructure in Hyderabad but that is not up to the aspirations and demands of the people

When the josh of state formation and sops dipped slightly, people have started thinking of the development and jobs. The Ruling Party belittled the Opposition and though it is not in a position to make the disgruntlement into votes. And that underestimation led to Dubbaka loss.

Things are very much the same or even worse in Andhra Pradesh. The Government there is fully focusing on freebies with zero focus on development and investments. At least the TRS Government focused on Hyderabad, it is not even the case with the Jagan Government.

The opposition in Andhra Pradesh is not as weak as in Telangana. The parties are temporarily recuperating from the 2019 loss but will regroup in a year or two. From then, it will be a really tough time for YSR Congress. People can never be happy with only freebies as evident from Dubbaka. The sooner Jagan realizes the better for him!
