Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao finally voiced his opinion on the ban of TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy Channels in the state. KCR who was evading the topic saying it is the decision of MSOs, finally supported the ban and even saluted MSOs for the decision. KCR is in Warangal for Kaloji Centeniary Birth Celebrations and he faced the heat of local journalists who questioned him on the ban. In his speech at the event, he clarified his stand on the issue.

“If some one has to be on our land, they should salute us. There is no question of excusing some one (TV9 in Bullet News Program) who made derogatory comments on Telangana MLAs. We will bury those who do not respect Telangana people, 10 Kilometers deep in the ground. People are making unnecessary mess of this issue in Delhi. Government is not involved in this ban but I will salute to the Telangana MSOs for taking such decision. I request the employees of those channels to rethink on supporting their Andhra managements”.

It is known to our readers that K Chandra Sekhar Rao slammed them in Assembly for airing derogatory news on the region. Telangana Assembly then passed a resolution asking the Speaker to take action on those channels. Following that Telangana MSOs have stopped the airing of the channels for three months. Telangana government refused to intervene in the issue saying that it is not in their purview.
