BRS_KCR_Thota_ChandrasekharAccording to reports, BRS President KCR is maintaining silence and refraining from interfering in AP political activities at the moment. KCR believes that his involvement in AP politics could have a negative impact on the BRS’s prospects in the upcoming Telangana elections, as it could potentially benefit TDP President Chandrababu Naidu in the AP General elections.

It is stated that KCR has conducted several surveys to gauge the sentiment of the people in AP towards the BRS. The survey report reveals that, except for three districts in Uttar Andhra, the people in the other ten districts hold an anti-KCR and anti-BRS sentiment.

KCR’s controversial comments about Andhra Pradesh during the statehood movement have left a lasting impact on many people in AP.The survey findings indicate that the people of AP still feel the pain of losing Hyderabad during the bifurcation. Additionally, there remains a TDP vote bank in districts such as Khammam, Greater Hyderabad, and Ranga Reddy.

In the 2018 general elections, TDP’s traditional voters inclined towards the TRS due to the TDP’s alliance with the Congress. Until the completion of the Telangana General Elections, KCR and other BRS leaders have decided not to involve themselves in AP politics.
