KCR To Take That Risk for 16/16Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s National Ambitions are clear. We have seen all those Federal Front Tours and KCR is eager to win all the 16 Parliament Seats in the upcoming Parliament Elections (One allocated to MIM). Going by the Assembly Election Results, TRS is leading everywhere except Khammam.

When a majority of the State voted in favour of the ruling TRS party, erstwhile Khammam was one district where the pink party could bag just one seat while Congress won six, TDP two and an Independent, one. The One Independent already joined the TRS Party taking the tally to Two. So, this equation shows that Khammam is the only difficult seat for TRS.

Reports are emerging that the Ruling Party is mulling the idea of fielding the Chief Minister himself from Khammam. They feel that it will easily seal Khammam seat to TRS which will help the ruling party bag 16 out of the 16 seats. While some feel it a big risk, KCR opines that the equations will completely change if he contests.

The final decision is yet to be taken. There are rumours that KCR believes that the next government at the center is not possible without TRS support. If he wins as an MP, he will shift to the Center taking a Plum Cabinet Post or even more depending on the equations after the elections. In such a case, his son, K Taraka Ramarao will be made the Chief Minister of Telangana.
