KCR TelanganaThe Three Capitals idea of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is creating Ripples in Andhra Pradesh Politics. After the Government had its way with brute force, the issue is currently in the courts and the farmers who have given their lands for the Capital are waiting with bated breathe for justice.

Meanwhile, Senior Telangana Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao made a sensational revelation saying the State Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, too, was planning to form two capitals for the state.

He also added that KCR was contemplating making Karimnagar as the second capital for Telangana, from where he would operate for half of the year. We do not know if it is true but if KCR really wants to do that there would be less friction because there is no problem like that of Amaravati farmers.

There are allegations that there is too little development in Telangana beyond Hyderabad. However, the only concern is that there is no single instance of multiple capitals succeeding in Decentralization or Development anywhere in the World. Even some countries with multiple capitals are mulling to discard the idea.
