KCR to Do Away with Deputy Chief Minister PostsTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is going to expand his cabinet on 17th of this month. 12 more MLAs are likely to be sworn in as the Ministers. The remaining Three Ministers will be inducted into the cabinet after the Parliament Elections. On the other side, the Chief Minister is planning to do away with the Deputy Chief Minister Posts this time.

There are some problems and controversies regarding the social composition of these posts and so the Chief Minister is planning to do away with them. Mahmood Ali and Rajaiah were the first Deputy Chief Ministers of Telangana and later Kadiyam Srihari replaced Rajaiah. Mahmood Ali will continue only as the Home Minister in this new cabinet.

Kadiyam Srihari if taken into the Cabinet will only be a Minister. Except for KTR and Harish Rai, almost all the old ones who are into the new cabinet are likely to have a portfolio shuffle. Ministers in the last cabinet who lost in the elections may not get chance now.
