In the wake of alleged land-grabbing issue to the tune of Rs 100 crores, Eetala Rajender has now been stripped off his Health Ministry portfolio and this has now been accorded to Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao.
Now, with KCR heading the Health portfolio, the public is in doubt on the availability of the CM as he hardly makes appearances before the media. Eatala Rajender, former Health Minister, used to regularly update the public about the novel coronavirus cases by frequent media interactions and press meets.
However, with KCR taking up the charge netizens doubt if it a good move and dubbed it as counterproductive to the state in this hour of crisis when communication required maximum. This is also likely to bring unnecessary bad name for the Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, a probe on Eatala Rajender has been ordered and the Revenue and Vigilance department has already started the probe in Medak, wherein eight farmers accused the Cabinet Minister along with his followers of grabbing their lands forcibly.
Amidst the allegations, Eetala Rajender has called out the allegations baseless, calling it a conspiracy to defame him and a ‘pre-planned sketch’. He said that he is ready to quit politics if proven guilty.
