KCR-CM-sworn-in

Kalvakuntla Chandra Sekhar Rao is sworn in as the first Chief Minister of the newly carved out Telangana state. Governor Narasimhan administered the oath in Rajbhavan exactly at 8.15 AM. Mohammed Mahbob Ali, T.Rajaiah, Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Eetela Rajendra, Pocharam Srinivasa Rao, T.Harish Rao, T Padma Rao Goud, Mahinder Reddy, K Taraka Rama Rao, Jogu Ramana and Jagadish Reddy took oath as minister (in the mentioned order).

So, KCR’s cabinet strength so far is twelve including himself. Mahbob Ali is expected to become the deputy Chief Minister according to KCR’s electoral promise. Earlier KCR paid homage to martyrs who laid their lives for Telangana cause at Gun Park and from there reached Raj Bhavan. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries who remained as pride of Telangana in various fields and the families of the martyrs.
