KCR's Survey: What is Truth? What is Fake?Ahead of the budget session, TRS Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao sat with all his MLAs to gauge the performance of the government and the legislators. KCR handed over their individual progress reports and also disclosed a survey report which said TRS will win 101-106 seats if the elections are to be held today.

Winning 101-106 seats out of 119 seats are really very huge. Telangana Rashtra Samiti managed to win 63 seats in 2014 elections that are when Telangana movement is at peaks and the public sentiment is hugely in favour of TRS for its proactive role in achieving the separate statehood.

So, winning 101-106 seats is next to impossible with anti-incumbency small or big playing a role, feels the political experts. Some other experts opine that TRS may increase its tally from the last elections but 100+ seats is a big exaggeration. This is probably to demotivate the other parties.

“TRS is looking comfortable for another term unless something dramatic happens in the next two years. The Opposition is really in a bad state or rather was put in a bad state which will help TRS immensely than anything else,” some political experts say.
