The last month, Telangana Government has tried to start the physical classes for students and later backtracked the decision after it has met with severe criticism from the parents and staff. Now, the Andhra Pradesh government has taken a similar decision.
The government has decided to start the schools on August 16th. The online classes will begin on the 12th of this month. It has to be seen how this decision of the Jagan Government will be received by the parents especially with the inhibitions of a possible third wave.
Previously, Andhra Pradesh Government also tried to conduct the exams for Tenth and Intermediate students but took back its decision after Supreme Court reprimanded it. However, the state government is hoping that things will be a lot better since the opening day is more than a month to go.
Andhra Pradesh is currently clocking around 2,000 new COVID-19 cases per day.
