KCR-Starts-Checkmating-BJPBJP is fancying its chances in Telangana after the recent Parliament Election Results. The party with the virtue of being Power at the Center is trying to arm-twist KCR in the State. All of sudden, there is dissent among the TRS leaders and there are rumors of some leaders and MLAs switching to BJP.

At this moment, KCR had started checkmating the Saffron Party in the State. Telangana Assembly on Monday passed a unanimous resolution demanding the Center to withdraw the Uranium Mining and Exploration in Nallamalla Forests. Save Nallamalla campaign picked pace in the people and the Telangana Chief Minister successfully pushed it on to the Central Government.

On the other side, the Chief Minister also announced that his government would not implement the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019 which imposed hefty fines on traffic violators. These were to come into effect from 1 September. KCR said Telangana will enact its own law but opinion is divided on whether a state can bring its own version of the MV Act only with relation to fines.

This is another move to showcase the BJP at the Center as Villain and the State Government a savior of the people. In all the ways, it looks like KCR has started checkmating BJP. Let us see how the BJP will respond to this Challenge.
