KCR-TRSTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is in the process of eliminating the opposition in the state. While saying ‘eliminating’, we actually mean it because he is making the parties disappear. Already we have seen TDP (TS), YSR Congress and BSP losing their Legislative Parties after they are merged in to TRS.

And now, the same fate may be on the way for CPI as well. CPI has lone MLA, Ramavath Ravindra Kumar (Devarakonda) in Telangana Assembly. He is all set to join TRS after Minister Jagadish Reddy struck the deal. With this Ravindra is likely to give the merging letter to the speaker and that will ensure CPI will not have representation in the Assembly.

In that case, KCR will create a National Record of merging four parties. This will be a National Record for sure. But it has to be ascertained by the courts if these mergers are valid constitutionally.
