KCR's-Snap-Poll-Idea-to-Dismantle-Chandrababu-Naidu-from-PowerTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is toying the idea of Snap Polls for the state and may dissolve the State Assembly the next month to ensure that the state will go for the early elections in November along with Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.

Besides denying the Opposition Proper time for preparation, KCR is also targeting the Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh with this move. If TDP (TS) allies with Congress as widely speculated in the media, early elections will mean that Opposition in AP will take it to the people and blame Naidu for allying with Congress which aided bifurcation.

The alliance losing the elections will showcase to the people of Andhra Pradesh that TDP is weak and will affect the election prospects of the yellow party. If at all Chandrababu senses this and backs out of the alliance, it will still be a win for TRS.

The main opposition party, Congress will not even have the bit of advantage the alliance with TDP (TS) brings. So, in either ways, the Snap Polls will benefit TRS and will damage the prospects of KCR’s Arch-Rival, Chandrababu Naidu.
