Bharat Bandh call given by the farmers against the Farm Bills had its impact on Telangana. After TRS lent support to it, the party leaders and communist unions obstructed people, roads, and businesses in Telangana bringing disruption in normal life.
Police have become mute spectators taking no action on the Ruling Party leaders. On the other side, Political experts feel this strategy of TRS to counter BJP is flawed. “People are angry about TRS in certain issues. TRS still has the edge in Telangana but has to correct itself,” a Political Expert opined.
“Instead of focusing on governance and doing things that will improve the lives in the next three years, KCR is trying project BJP as bad which will obviously backfire. People will only see this as a desperate measure to counter BJP after Dubbaka and GHMC Elections and will do no good,” he added.
Farmers are not seen in the bandh which also indicates the issue being political and nothing to do with the real cause. An example of this is TRS leaders facing resistance from the people during the Bandh. Citizens have questioned TRS MLA Arekapudi Gandhi for blocking the road in Kukatpally.
A supporter of MLA is seen heckling the person who questioned and even pushed the man right before the police who did nothing. This kind of behaviour will not help TRS in any way.
