KCR - YS JaganAndhra Pradesh Government continues to sit on the pleas of Telugu film industry. The basic demand of reasonable tickets rate is also not addressed and the future of theaters in B and C centers looks bleak.

The industry has remained close even though the situation is conducive for opening. The entire trade is fuming at AP CM Jagan’s indifference towards the industry but can not vent it outside due to obvious reasons.

Meanwhile, using this gap, Telangana Government is becoming close to the industry. Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is holding a high-level meeting today on the issues being faced by the film theaters.

They are discussing about the possibility of a fifth show permission and pending tax and other incentives that should be extended to save the theaters in distress. Fifth show permission is like going extra mile to save the industry.

This at time, Jagan Government is ignoring the basics. This move of KCR may be unintentional will increase the anger on Jagan Government.
