KCRFormer MP Vivek who is upset with TRS High Command for not giving Chennur Seat for his brother was finally pacified. There are rumours that Vivek will leave TRS and join Congress which is his parent party once. Chief Minister KCR reportedly called him and promised an MLC immediately after coming to Power.

More than retaining Vivek, it is important for KCR to retain the support of their V6 News Channel. It is the most popular Telangana News Channel in the state and KCR could not afford to lose their support ahead of the elections. Finally, it all ended well with Vivek and Vinod deciding to stay in KCR

Interestingly the sitting MLA of Chennur, Nallala Odelu did not retain the seat. It was given to Peddapalli MP Balka Suman. TRS has given 95% of the tickets to the sitting MLAs this time. So far, they have announced candidates for 107 Assembly Segments out of the total 119.
