In the wake of dissent in TRS in recent times, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has decided to make amends. He immediately called for the Cabinet Expansion and has taken Six more ministers into the team. Harish Rao and KTR who are left in the previous expansion were brought back.

With this move, KCR has silenced the debate of sidelining Harish Rao. Telangana which was formed five years ago is yet to have a Single Woman Minister. To erase that, KCR had taken two woman ministers into the team. Sabhitha Indra Reddy who defected from Congress to TRS after elected on Congress ticket is inducted.

Satyavathi Rathod is another woman minister. Gangula Kamalakar and Puvvada Ajay are also inducted into the cabinet. The current Cabinet does not have any representation from Khammam district. Ajay will fill the gap. Khammam is the only district which went Mahakutami way in 2018 elections.

With this, three gaps: KTR – Harish conflict, No Woman Minister, and No Khammam Representations were plugged. Besides this expansion, KCR is also planning to appoint 12 MLAs and the Senior Leaders who got defeated as Corporation Chairmans in the next few days.
