Why is KCR Playing into the hands of Narendra ModiTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is one of the first Chief Ministers in the country to extend his support for Demonetization. But later on, KCR was taken back after people suffered due to the bad implementation. Now, KCR is doing the same for GST as well.

Telangana Finance Minister, Eetela Rajendra went on to say GST will incur 3000 Crore loss to the state but the Chief Minister went on to give clean chit to the center and said it will bring 3000 Crore profit to the state exchequer.

The difference of opinion between the government top brass and KCR’s eagerness to support the Center has become a weapon in the hands of the Opposition. Even TRS supporters are of the opinion that KCR need not be so eager to support BJP without waiting for the actual consequences of GST.

But then, KCR is leaving no stone untouched to support BJP given that the saffron party is almost confirmed to get an extension in the office in 2019 and KCR wants to be in the good books of Modi. Be it Demonetization or President Election or GST, KCR is in the forefront.
