KCR's Palatial Camp Office to be RWH Role ModelGHMC a few days ago made Rain Water Harvesting Pits mandatory for all the new constructions in Hyderabad. But then this is not followed during the construction of the chief minister’s camp office-cum-residence in Begumpet.

But then after the construction is completed, the Chief Minister is now all set to have the RWH pits. The government had sanctioned 8 Lakhs for the construction of 20 rain water harvesting (RWH) pits within the premises. A team of experts earmarked the location of the pits in the premises.

Out of 20, only 14 structures are recharge pits while the remaining six are recharge pits along with injection wells. It is not clear who will foot the bill. It is either the irrigation department or the water board itself.
