KCR-Once-Again-Back-with-National-AmbitionsBefore the elections, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao used to make tall claims of Federal Front. He used to campaign that the nation needs a front devoid of BJP and Congress. But to the utter surprise of him, his own party, TRS failed poorly in the Parliament elections losing five seats to Opposition.

KCR’s own daughter, Kavitha lost from Nizamabad. Since then, KCR’s national ambitions were put to rest. However, there are rumors that KCR is planning to make a comeback to the National Arena by taking on the BJP led Central Government on Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC.

Sources say that KCR will meet all the like-minded parties across the nation and spearhead the agitation. TRS is also going to organize a huge meeting in Hyderabad on Gandhi Jayanti (Jan 30) against this. TRS feels that this is a masterstroke by KCR.

“We will corner Modi and Shah or at least it will consolidate our support in the minorities. We have nothing to lose,” says a Party senior leader. BJP is looking to make inroads into Telangana and this Hindu – Muslim polarization may actually help it, some other political experts feel.
