KCR-on-the-Verge-of-Fulfilling-His-Two-Prominent-Poll-PromiseTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is on the verge of fulfilling his part for two of his most important Poll Promises. Telangana government the other day has released 4000 Crore for the Loan Waiver. This is the last installment of the 17000 Crore promise and it has completed under Three years.

On the other side, the state government also made a significant stride over the Muslim Reservations. BC Commission had submitted its report to the government recommending 12% Reservations to the community in Employment and Education. They will be put under BC-E.

Telangana Assembly will sit on April 16th to pass the bill and the state cabinet will ratify that later tonight. But then, Muslim Reservations issue will land in Center’s court as these reservations will be above the allowed quota of 50% and center should bring it under the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution by using powers under 31 (B) of the Constitution.

This section of Constitution gives powers to the center to protect the laws made by State Legislatures like in the case of Tamil Nadu. BJP is against Reservations on Religious Basis. But then, KCR will be doing his part and throw the ball in center’s court.
