KCR extends support to mediaTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao who was dolling out sops to all the sections of Telangana one after the other decided to slow down a bit. The sops will be held back for the next three months and will be rolled out after that, according to the latest plan.

“We are heading to the election year, and hence, the plan is to announce some sop or the other after three months so that they pay dividends when elections happen in April 2019,” said a Senior TRS Functionary revealing what is in the mind of the Chief Minister.

Taking a cue from this plan, KCR restricted his Telangana Formation Day Speech to elaborating on various schemes already in place and how they are benefiting people. In politics, they say the Public Memory is very short and so KCR does not want to take any risk.

KCR has recently introduced the Crop Incentive to Farmers. The Government will give ₹4,000 an acre for each farmer in the Kharif and Rabi season to take care of the expenditure on inputs. The State Government is also mulling to introduce Free Insurance Cover to all the farmers in the state up to 5 Lakh each.
