KCR-TRSTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s Jaitrayatra concluded in Dubbaka. Ever since the new state formation, KCR is the crowned King of the state and literally smashed every election conducted in the state since 2014. Dubbaka shares its borders with Gajwel, represented by CM KCR, Sircilla – the constituency of KTR, and Siddipet, the stronghold of Harish Rao.

So, it is going to hurt more than what anyone can imagine. TRS lost the closely fought election with just 1000 votes despite going aggressive in the campaign. Sources say that TRS leadership opined that Telugu Desam Party not contesting Dubbaka cost them the election.

“TDP should have got at least 2,000 votes even in the worst case. This would have cut the Opposition votes and helped TRS win. Since it is a closely fought election, those 2,000 votes would have been crucial. Congress biting the dust badly also affected TRS chances,” TRS internal analysis revealed.

Now, the focus is on the upcoming GHMC election. TRS has to win the election comprehensively or there is a danger of BJP becoming a potential threat is the upcoming Assembly election.
