Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao let go the hopes on the proposed delimitation before the 2019 elections. Speaking to media in Delhi KCR told that he brought that to the notice of the Prime Minister and Modi said, ‘They will increase in 2026 anyhow’.
KCR also told the media that even if the process is initiated, it will take five years to complete. That implies KCR totally lost hopes. Both the CMs need the delimitation desperately to accommodate the defected leaders of other parties.
But then, the need is more for KCR since there are 4-5 aspirants for every seat in Telangana due to the mass defections from other parties. In a bid to crush the opposition, KCR admited everyone and anyone from the opposition parties. Naidu will also have the problem even though it is not up to the level of KCR.
