It is known that whenever KCR or KTR has to address about Prime Minister Modi they have openly criticized that Central government is not extending helping hand to the new born state Telangana. However, KCR’s extensive land survey proposal which begins after Diwali is estimated to cost about Rs 600 Crore to the state government is now backed by Central government. The Centre had already released 84 Crores and agreed to release total of Rs 360cr for the survey. This will reduce the state government’s burden to Rs 240Cr.

The last land survey was done nearly 80 years ago, conducted by Nizam’s in 1930. This latest survey will help state government to take legal action against encroacher’s as ton of land disputes are still in pending due to lack of proper documentation. Survey of India will take up the land survey after Diwali.
