Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti seem to be coming up with a new plan to eliminate TDP in Telangana. Previously they have merged TDP with TRS in Council using a loophole in Constitution. Accordingly, they have got majority of TDP MLCs shift to TRS and merged TDP in TRS in the council.
TRS seem to be treading the same path in Council too. With the today’s joining, Seven TDP MLAs have joined TRS. It is said that TRS leaders are also in talks with two other MLAs from the yellow party.
KCR reportedly wants to have the majority MLAs merge the party in to TRS. In that way, TRS can also evade going to by-elections in the defected MLAs seats. However this issue may pan in to huge controversy and can bring bad name to KCR.
