KCR Hits Ground Zero To Monitor Corona Control WorkTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is directly entering the fray to tackle the Coronavirus menace. He is going to Karimnagar tomorrow and will personally supervise the local machinery’s work to curb the spread of the contagious virus. Karimnagar has the largest number of Coronavirus cases.

Karimnagar, a town 160 km from Hyderabad in north Telangana has reported eight COVID-19 cases which are like almost half of the total cases registered in the state so far. The State Government is doing a door-to-door campaign and is conducting tests for the people with symptoms.

BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar is supervising the efforts so far and Chief Minister KCR will be in the fray now. KCR was supposed to tour Karimnagar today itself but it got postponed since the Chief Minister had to attend a video-conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While Telangana’s efforts to curb Coronavirus are greeted as the best in the country, there is a stringent criticism on how Andhra Pradesh is handling the crisis.
